Captain Sturt Marina & Slipway The Captain Sturt Marina and slipway are situated in Goolwa, South Australia 250 meters upstream of the Hindmarsh Island bridge. At the marina we offer 60 wet berths from 6 meters to 18 meters many of these berth have now been excavated to allow for low river levels and are only 5 minute walk from the Goolwa main street. Other facilities at the marina included toilets and showers, Chandlery, Marine electrician, Yacht rigger and stainless steel manufacturer, Suzuki outboard dealership and undercover slipway. Berths are rented on a quarterly, half yearly or yearly basis and start from $1000 year. The Slipway at the Marina has recently been deepened for lower river levels. We can slip vessels from 6 meters up to 20 meters. We also have the advantage of slipping vessels undercover out of the weather. 2 full time experienced tradesmen are employed at the slipway or you can work on your own vessel.
Services at the Slipway include: Water or abrasive blasting Timber, Fiberglass or Steel boat repairs Antifouls Repaints by hand or spray Fitouts Repowers Boat Transporting 2 tonne crane Labour Rate: $66 per hour(incl GST)
